The Effectiveness of Dolomite Phosphate Rock on Growth and Yield of Black Sesame (Sesamum indicum L.) in Paddy Field

Background: The study was carried out to determine the amount of dolomite phosphate rock (DPR) on growth and seed yield black sesame in a paddy field. Methods: A randomized complete block design used for field experiment, which included four treatments, each with replications. Treatments were applied without DPR 0.25, 0.5 1.0 t ha-1 DPR. Result: Experimental results showed that plants fertilized following formula: 60 N x P2O5 30 K2O kg ha-1. Moreover, addition increased plant height (129.7 cm), number leaves pods per (47.4 pods), total chlorophyll content (12.4 µg/cm2), seeds pod (1.61 ha-1). stem but not seeds. pH soil (0-20 cm) NH4+, NO3- PAvailable also increased.
